C. Berkeley. Our program trains graduate students for careers at the interface of the biological and physical sciences. Approximately 55 faculty members are affiliated with the Biophysics Group, spanning over a dozen departments at U. C. Berkeley. Faculty from outside the group are often available upon request. For more information about our graduate program, please click on one of the topics above. Support Our group is supported by the Training Grant in Physical Biosciences through the NIH's National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) and by U.C. Berkeley. External Links Of Interest Proteins with nearly identical structures can respond very differently
to high temperature. Biophysics students in the Marqusee lab study the
origin of thermal stability in proteins. Click above to learn more.
